LONGEST VIRTUAL SEMINAR ON THE ROLE OF TEACHERS TOWARDS PINNACLE OF ACHIEVEMENTS
The TAMIL NADU TEACHERS EDUCATION UNIVERSITY, and The CENTER FOR CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMMES FOR SCHOOL TEACHERS, Chennai organized an world Record event titled “ROLE OF TEACHERS TOWARDS PINNACLE OF ACHIEVEMENTS” on 04.06.2021 for 27 Educational Institutions affiliated to TamilNadu Teachers Education University – Chennai, for 27 hours on 27 different sub titles to create a world record by signifying the important role of Teachers.This mega event was organized by Dr. T. Sivasakthi Rajammal, Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Psychology and coordinator, Centre for Capacity Building Programmes for School teachers, Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.The live telecast was rendered by Tamil America Channel. The meeting was inaugurated on 04.06.2021 at 9am. Prof. M Govindan welcomed the gathering. Dr T Sivasakthi Rajammal explained the theme of the event. Inaugural address was given by Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof N Panchanatham. Felicitation was given by Prof S Mani, Prof P Ganeshan, Deputy Registrars Prof K Mohan and Prof Vijayakumar and representives like Secretary, principals from 27 colleges of Education. Dr Mohammed Mohideen and Dr Ravi Govindaraj participated as the guests of honour. Master of Ceremony was done by Dr T Premalatha of Bharathiar University, Dr Josephine of Stella matutina College of Education and Mr S Rajakumar of Thiagarajar College of Preceptors. Prof G Viswanathan, Former Vice Chancellor of TNTEU delivered the valedictory address on 05.06.2021. The number of speakers including students and teachers in the world record event were 229. The total number of participants attended the event were 4460. Besides these, more than 2000 Participants participated through you tube and Tamil America Channel. This new world Programme commenced on 4th June from 9 am and ended on 5th June by 4pm. This programme was executed by the students’ participants in tamil language through Google Meet platform.
